The welcoming staff, especially the owners, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering delicious home-cooked meals featuring local specialties like big fat 'golden potatoes' and fresh trout. The well-heated room and functional private shower were a godsend after an unexpected hailstorm, proving the establishment's commitment to guest satisfaction. The proximity to stunning hiking trails, including Parangul Mare, and the Transalpina road further enhanced our adventure, making this eco-friendly lodge a top recommendation for those seeking an authentic and unforgettable Carpathian mountain getaway.
